I’m working my way through the twenty odd illustrations from my picture book; The Cleaning Station. The illustration below is from pages 6 and 7.

The tiny fish on the left is called a “Bluestreak Cleaner Wrasse“. The larger, uglier fish on the right is called a “Potato Grouper“, or “Potato Cod” because of it’s resemblance to a large potato. It can grow to 2.5m in length. So that would be a rather large potato.

Animals of Andalucia…

A few photos taken of the animals of Andalucia I’ve encountered whilst out walking.

Goats / Cabras, quite a lot fo these fellows. They all seem to follow the one with a bell. Also known as ‘geraldine con la campana’.

Sheep / Oveja, loads of these cheese makers wandering around. This one stopped in a lovely spot. Obviously wanted it’s photo taken. Nice rim light/hero light, maybe a future star?

This fellow was scratching up against a tree. Glad it was behind a fence. They do run at you from time to time.

A pig / cerdo. Very tasty as they feed on all the acorns (bellotes), left lying around. This one was the star of the show, hence his pose. Maybe laughing. Dunno.

A tiny Wren bird, building it’s nest above my head.

Not sure what type of shark. Looks slightly angry anyway.
